Note:Still to put a foot wrong, the Floating Points helmed Eglo Records offers up the angelic soul vocals of Shuanise on three buttered beat productions. Displaying an impressive range of vocal styles and beats, the Stevo produced 'Kingdom' takes the A-side slot with a sub-weighted hiphop number made for Shuanise's rapped vox, sounding not dissimilar to Speech Debelle. Meanwhile on the flip the sublime 'Catch' from Hubert Davis caters a blend of post-Dilla drums and smoky mellow Sun-Ra vibes to Shuanise's mellifluous flow, and Knowledge's lolloping nu-Soul beat on 'Commotion' frames Shuanise as a UK styled Erykah Badu, albeit with a more youthful sweetness to her tone.
