Review: After a five year hiatus E&A...AKA EYEDEA AND ABILITIES are back with the much anticipated release. This Grunge/Alternative/Hip hop jem is a bit of a ways from what E&A fans are used to hearing, with heavy searing guitar distorted piano and a over all sonic sound Abilitie follows his gifted lyricist partner from a raw underground hip hop sound into a gritty new grunge feel. For fans wondering what happend to the sound that was familiarized on First Born & E&A? The answer is simply this, after Carbon carousel Eyedea has found his nitch...somewhere between Nirvana & Atmosphere. The CD has more highs then lows(my personal opinion), while lyrically supreme, fans might beturned away by the hard rock feel of the album. Buuuut to each its own, true fans of Eyedea & his venture should be pleased with this project.
