The third release in the Powerful Beacon series teams up MF Doom with Tadd Mullinix under his Dabrye alias. The A-side features Vast Aire and Doom's 'Da Supafriendz' rebuilt by Dabrye in a typically smart, next-level fashion, replacing the more flashy signatures of his early releases with the more subtle melodic style of his mighty recent remix for King Midas Sound. The result once again allows Doom's vocal to appear in a slightly different context, with an almost woozy undercurrent that works a treat. Dabrye purists get treated to an instrumental version on the flip, making for another essential plate from the Powerful Beacon series. Extremely limited copies!
