CUT OF VINYL MELTDOWN:Oddisee has been grinding hard lately to get stuff out there. Today, he dropped his free summertime EP of (mostly) all instrumentals. He definitely proves that, while Diamond District was an amazing project, he’s got a lot more than just that boom bap up his sleeve. Oddisee comes with a variety of musical styles, that show just how talented the man is. Plus, they’ve all got nice warm summertime vibes. There is definitely a difference between a beat tape, and an instrumental album, and this falls decidedly in the second category. These are definitely meant to stand alone as they are. This is a perfect listen for a summertime chill session, or just to sit back and vibe to. Dope stuff. Sidenote, that’s not the official artwork, but it’s what’s embedded with all the mp3s, and the official artwork is very small.
