A fresh dope project coming out on MPM with a little collab with the UpMyAlley fam,Hubert Daviz lays down some dope beats in a perfect chill mode to put your relaxation on max, peep out this upcomin record which will be released 28th May!
"Proceduri De Rutina" is a mini-album soley made of Romanian jazz records.
The project started as a just-for-fun-beattape, after Hubert got hooked on
the vintage jazz of his home country in late 2009. Call it magic, but the
sample sources and Hubert's very own trademark sound fitted so well that
the new music cried for a release. "Proceduri De Rutina" is a deep but
chilled trip into Hubert Daviz's beat cosmos, inspired by some of the most
obscure Eastern-European jazz you have never heard of. Enjoy!
Limited vinyl pressing. 500 copies!!
Hubert Daviz was born in 1981 near Timisoara, Romania. At the age of
5 he moved to Germany where he caught the hip-hop bug as a teenager.
Today he lives in Cologne where he started making beats in 2004.
Hubert is part of the UpMyAlley family since 2007 and appeared on
both Beatnicks volumes. He has also produced tracks for Cologne's
premier rap outfit Huss & Hodn (Entourage) and London-based
songstress Shuanise (Eglo).

Word from Emay:
Finally we can release my instrumental album. I’ve put a lot of work into re-interpreting Karen O’s soundtrack for Where The Wild Things Are, and I really hope it shows. I always knew of the story, but doing this project allowed me to research and understand the story on a psychological level. I don’t want to say too much, I like to let the music speak for me. I really hope people like it, so tell us what you think!

Via Vtech: DJ Nuts is an astute and rigorous historian of Brasil’s vast and varied musical culture. His record collection is legendary; his skills as a DJ are world class. We commissioned him to make this mix to help people understand the extraordinary legacy of Verocai. Many by now know Verocai’s self-titled album, some even know the more popular compositions and arrangements, but none have dug as hard as Nuts. Years of collecting and a strong friendship with Verocai himself have made this historic mix possible. 78 minutes of all Verocai compositions and arrangements is a dream come true.

Bobby Blunt, is someone that has caught AJB ear, he just released his EP Petey's Soapbox which is just pure dopeness! Bobby Blunt delivers a great flow in a unique way and the beats are just groovy, why wait go and cop Petey's Soapbox here!
This is EP was inspired by the life and times of Petey Green, the worlds first shock dj. His color commentaries and straight forward opinions influences the lyrics and mood of this album. As an artist, I reserve my right to artistic freedom. As a listener you reserve your right whether or not to hear. All I ask is a open ear.
People over at Vinyl Meltdown present you this very fresh project by Emay, whom have been previously featured here on AJB so some of you might heard of this producerd/emcee before, here is a little peak of the upcomin EP droppin April 26th, a fresh track called 'Worried Shoes', The whole ep is a personal interpretation of Emay’s of what Karen O and her children’s choir brought to the film. " 'Worried Shoes' tells a sad, but uplifting tale of emotional rebelliousness. It is in creating this type of voyage that Emay’s music is reflective both of "Where the Wild Things Are" as a film and as a story."

AJB wanted to feature this very dope emcee from Cleveland named Replife, been into this cat music for awhile now and the music he creates is quite impressive, with various flows he makes beautiful music such in tone of soulful/nu-jazzy/broken beats well he kinda does it all and yeah he also sings! This gifted cat is not to be slept on so get into it dear Apple Juice Break lovers of good music! Featured below is the song, "Put It Down".
Based in Cleveland, he began rhyming at the age of 12 and enjoyed early success gaining national recognition both as a poet and rapper. However, in 2001 he decided to hang up his microphone believing that his days as a performance artist had passed him by and settled into another successful career as an award-winning journalist, columnist, editor and educator. Luckily in 2004 he was finally persuaded by the young producer aLIVE (of the Cleveland-based Muamin Collective) to drop by the studio and pick up the mic again. This prolific collaboration helped to define a new Cleveland sound that fuses musical genres and yet manages to remain rooted to the essence of their home city--the realities of living in which have become the source of inspiration for Rep's solo offering The Unclosed Mind.
Much more than "just another hip-hop album", the Replife sound is often described as a fusion of hip-hop, nu-jazz, future soul and broken beat, although even this description fails to capture the freshness and innovation behind the music and artist! And with this album Replife shows himself not only as a gifted rapper, poet, singer and writer, but as a master of ceremonies, pulling together talent from across the globe to complete one sonorous musical thought.
Replife - Put It Down

AJB wanted to feature this upcomin release from RemyLBO called 'The Peeling Drum' , which will drop on Porter Records, April 20th! Check out two of the songs featured below for a little taste !
With a musical style that has been described as "a combination of RZA, Flying Lotus, Madlib, and Geoff Barrow of Portishead…", “Peeling in the Drum” continues Remy LBO's exploration of the boundaries of instrumental Hip-Hop. By taking heavy melodic bass lines, improvisational piano and fractured drums, Remy creates a potent atmospheric brew that sounds as if it has been cooked up in the reaches of outer space. To compliment the mixture of musical styles found on “Peeling in the Drum”, Remy employs a seamless fusion of live instrumentation and computer production for a strong sense of authenticity. “Peeling in the Drum” is an album that not only fans of hip-hop need to hear. It is an album that fans of music need to hear as well.
Come On Now
In October of last year, Paten Locke released his album titled "Super Ramen Rocketship" Tres Records are getting ready to release the second single, "Ventilation," in June, so in anticipation for the 12-inch, the Official "Ventilation"
Paten Locke, in his own word about his album "Super Ramen Rockership"
"wadaaap yall so, here is my first official video...shot in LA, last year...
this is also my second single, from my debut lp, SUPER RAMEN ROCKETSHIP.
the song is called Ventilation...and its really just a track that i did that is all about breathing a certain feel of hiphop that im into...bringin it back to that raw shit...which is why there is alot of reverse ish goin on...
i did the beat, cuts and rime (just like the rest of the lp) ...big up to chikaramanga, jerome d, and sei and kaz who put this together ...
i hope yall dig it, more to come, im just gettin started..."
Note from xlr8r: Parisian producer Onra teams up his solid grooves with Olivier Daysoul's wacky falsetto on the dancefloor heater "Long Distance." Paying homage to his rave-minded peers with his super-compressed beat, Onra still keeps the boogie alive with a bouncing bassline, tons of spacey synth sounds, and a hook that rivals just about any of Daft Punk's catchy melodies. The music is brilliant in and of itself, allowing Daysoul's colorful vocal delivery to serve as the icing on the cake.
Onra - "Long distance" feat Olivier Dayso
Creative Control with yet another Mos Def material, this is a absolutly beautiful video with some real nice footage, "History" over a dilla classic from Dilla Beat 3! Enjoy! Lensed by Coodie & Chike & additional work by Micheal Sterling Eaton.
